1- Cold or general work permit:
Cold work permit is a general work permit which is used for normal maintenance work without any hot, welding or brazing work.
2- Hot work permit :
Hot work permit is a fire hazardous type work as welding work, brazing work etc. Fire hazardous safety precaution are followed during hot work. Fire extinguisher are used for any fire case. Nearby are of hot work are evacuated.
3- Height work permit :
Height work permit are used above 10 feet height work as civil type work. Height related safety precaution are taken as safety belt, helmet and safety shoes etc.
4- Confined work permit :
Confined work permit are used in any type tank, sewer tank where the danger gas is produced which is danger for human life. So before start work the hazardous gas is removed from tank or sewer.
5- Chemical work permit :
Chemical work permit is used where the chemical work is carried out. Chemical is hazardous for human life so chemical safety precautions are followed.
