3 - Important Components of Motor Control Panel:

1- Metering Section

Measuring meters are used for measuring the system parameters like as volt meter, amp meter, multifunction meter etc.

A- Measuring Meters

Many types meters are used in panel like as Analog meter and digital meters. Amp meter, volt meter, multi function meter, energy meter are used for measuring the parameters. It all can be used digital or Analog as per requirement.

B- Indicators

Indicators are used for knowing the status of panel operation.Difference type indicators are used with different color.

• R Phase.
• Y Phase.
• B Phase.
• MCCB ON.
• MCCB OFF.
• MCCB Trip.

2- Incomer Section:

Molded Case Circuit Breaker:

Power distribution panel power supply is received from LT panel. MCCB is used for making and breaking incoming power where MCCB incomer supply is connected with LT panel and outgoing is connected with busbar.

3- Outgoing or feeder Section

Different types feeders are used for outgoing just like as pump Motor etc. etc.

1- DOL Starter

If the motor is single phase or three phase below 5 HP then DOL starter are used for motor starting or stopping as feeder. What is the star delta starter , working principle and connection diagram?

2- Star Delta Starters

If the Motor is above 5 HP then star delta starter are used for motor controlling as outgoing feeders. What is the star delta starter , working principle and connection diagram?
